Ming Jin - Managing Partner

Mr. Ming Jin is the Founder and Managing Partner of Cygnus Equity, China's leading boutique investment bank. Ming has about 20 Years of Experience in Private Equity Investment, Investment Banking and Corporate Management.

Prior to founding Cygnus, he was China head of Providence Equity, the world's premier private equity firm specializing in media, communications, education and information services.

Prior to Providence, he was Director at Warburg Pincus.

Mr. Jin received a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Tsinghua University.

Tao Jin - Partner

Tao Jin is a partner at Cygnus. He has rich experience in private equity and investment banking. Previously, he worked at KPMG, CICC and JP Morgan in financial analysis, equity research and Merger & Acquisition.

Tao Jin received a Bachelor of Finance from Xi An Jiaotong University.

Tom Lu - Managing Director

Tom Lu is an Managing Director at Cygnus with rich experience in private equity, deal advisory and audit services. Previously, he worked at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, responsible for financial due diligence and investment services.

Tom Lu received a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Xiamen University.

Weili Hong - Venture Partner

Dr. Weili Hong is a Venture Partner at Cygnus. He has almost 30 years of investment and management experience in capital markets at home and abroad.

Prior to Cygnus, Dr. Hong took senior positions in a number of renowned investment and financial firms, e.g. President and Chief Research Officer at CMC Holdings (China’s largest culture investment and operation platform), Partner at Gopher Asset Management (China’s No.1 FOF management company), Managing Partner at KTB China, head of BD at ING China.

Dr. Hong currently serves as a Guest Professor at School of Economics and Fanhai International School of Finance, Fudan University. He is also Vice Chairman of the Global Alumni Association of the School of Economics, and Executive Chairman of the Private Equity Association of Fudan University. He is also an experienced and well-known outdoor traveler and team leader, and the co-founder of Yetravel Technology Ltd.

Mary Zha - COO

Mary has 15 years of private equity and strategic consulting experience. Previously, she worked at Providence Equity Partners and HAO Capital, where she was responsible for investor relations, fund operations and compliances.

Mary started her professional career as a strategy consultant at Monitor Group. She received her M.A. from Peking University.
